FAQs

How much does it cost to have something engraved?

All of the engraving is included in the cost of the product. The only exception is if you want to engrave the back of an item or if you send us an image that takes a long time to edit. In the rare case that we will charge more, we would quote you a price before engraving.

How do I personalize the item I'm ordering?

When you are picking out your item, you will have the option to personalize an existing design, or to start from scratch. When working with an existing design, simply type whatever information that's needed (name, year, etc.) into the "Engraving Notes" box, and click "Add to Cart." Once your order is placed, we will email you a proof of your design to ensure it's to your liking. For a completely new design, give us an idea of what you want in that same "Engraving Notes" box, being as specific as you can. Be sure to check out our lists of fonts and clip art. Once your order is placed, we will email you back with a proof. From there, we can discuss any changes needed to make your piece perfectly personal!

How long does it take to receive a proof if I order online?

Once we receive your order, we will send a proof within 48 hours.

Can I put a logo or my own image on the product?

In many cases, yes! Attach your image to the "File Upload" button under the engraving notes, or email us at wmipoc@gmail.com and we will let you know if we are able to engrave it. We will always send a proof before engraving. If you are emailing from an iPhone, be sure to select the size as "Actual Size."

How long does it take to engrave an item?

The average time to engrave is 20 minutes, but it depends on how much information is on the product. It could be as little as 30 seconds or as long as an hour.

Can I bring in a product for you to engrave?

Unfortunately, our machines are only calibrated to engrave on products that we carry in the store.

How do you care for the cutting boards?

You may use mineral oil to extend the life of your bamboo cutting board, but it is not necessary. To clean, we recommend hand washing the cutting board with soap and water. The cutting boards are NOT dishwasher safe.
